Conference on Continuing Professional Development Courses for the Maritime Sector
Organizer: Danish Shipping and Maritime Research Alliance

The maritime sector in currently undergoing profound changes. The green transition and the technological development are gradually leading to the adoption of new fuels, the integration of new digital tools and artificial intelligence, the introduction of new equipment, the implementation of new regulations, and the exposure to new risks. Consequently, there will be a growing demand for new skills and competencies. This does not only apply to the maritime graduates of the future, but also to the existing workforce. The need to enhance and update existing competencies in the maritime sector is more relevant than ever.

To address these questions, Danish Shipping and Maritime Research Alliance are co-organizing a conference on the topics.

When you register, you must choose which workshop to attend before and after noon.

Before noon:

  1. Continuing Professional Development Courses (efter- og videreuddannelse) targeted seagoing masters (skibsfører)
  2. Continuing Professional Development Courses (efter- og videreuddannelse) targeted landbased technical personel

After noon:

  1. Continuing Professional Development Courses (efter- og videreuddannelse) targeted seagoing marine engineer (maskinmester)
  2. Continuing Professional Development Courses (efter- og videreuddannelse) targeted landbased commercial personel
  3. Continuing Professional Development Courses (efter- og videreuddannelse) generalists e.g., IT, mathematics, finance.
